HAQAST 1

HAQAST 1 took place at Emory University in November, 2016. It was our first, introductory meeting during which we defined HAQAST’s mission and goals. Click here for the agenda, as well as pdfs of each participant’s talk.

 

HAQAST 2

HAQAST 2 was hosted by the University of Washington in Seattle in February, 2017. The public meeting was very well attended and featured HAQAST members and public stakeholders sharing their work and applied research needs with each other. HAQAST 3

HAQAST 3 was hosted by the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory in November, 2017, with generous support provided by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). We had a vibrant group of over 100 attendees, with up to 75 who joined remotely. We had a great group of HAQAST members and public stakeholders sharing their work and research needs. HAQAST 4

HAQAST 4 was hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Madison in July, 2018, with generous support provided by the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Cooperative Institute for Meteorological Satellite Studies (CIMSS)Space Science and Engineering Center (SSEC), Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies, and the Lake Michigan Air Directors Consortium (LADCO). The reception was sponsored by the UW-Madison Center for Sustainability and the Global Environment (SAGE). We had a vibrant group of close to 150 attendees, with up to 75 who joined remotely. HAQAST 5

HAQAST 5 was hosted by Arizona State University with coordinating assistance from the Maricopa County Air Quality Department in January 2019. Coffee breaks on Day 1 were generously sponsored by Ramboll and cosponsored by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison with funding from the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation. Reception refreshments and Day 2 coffee break were supported to by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison with funding from the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation to help advance HAQAST research. We had a great group of close to 105 attendees, with up to 170 who joined remotely.  An engaging group of HAQAST members and public stakeholders shared their work and research needs.
