HAQAST4 is being hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and co-sponsorship has generously been provided by Cooperative Institute for Meteorological Satellite Studies (CIMSS), University of Wisconsin-Madison, Space Science and Engineering Center (SSEC), University of Wisconsin-Madison, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies.

Meeting Information

This workshop aims to bring the HAQAST PIs and members of the public into close discussion.

The public meeting will feature interactive presentations, talks, roundtables, and a poster session.


Please register for the HAQAST4 meeting here.


The HAQAST4 public meeting will be 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday, July 16th, with the poster session to follow from 5:00-7:00 PM. The public meeting will continue from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM Tuesday, July 17th. The Tiger Team meeting will be from 3:00 – 5:00 PM on Tuesday, July 17th, following the public HAQAST4 meeting. Lunch will be provided on both days of the public meeting.

Requests for HAQAST4 posters and presentations will be going out shortly, and a formal agenda will follow.

HAQAST4 will be held at the UW-Madison Gordon Dining & Event Center. Hotels are nearby, and there are countless restaurants and coffee shops to explore on State Street.

Transport from Hotel to Meeting

DoubleTree by Hilton and Hampton Inn & Suites are within a 10-minute walk from the meeting venue, but public busses are also available. Bussing information will be posted shortly. Check back soon!
